The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who excels at pro-code development and is genuinely comfortable working directly with clients. You will architect and engineer robust, scalable systems from the ground up while serving as a trusted technical partner to our UK and international clients.
This is not a purely behind-the-scenes coding role. You must be a true “chameleon” — technically excellent, highly adaptable across tech stacks and industries, and confident interfacing directly with clients in fluent, professional English. You will translate business needs into technical solutions, present ideas, run workshops, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
This role suits a senior engineer who enjoys variety, wants to shape project direction, and is energized by direct client interaction rather than isolated development.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Delivery & Communication: Directly interface with front-end clients (UK and international) to gather requirements, clarify needs, present technical proposals, run discovery workshops, demo progress, and handle feedback. You will be a primary technical point of contact, explaining complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders in fluent English.
End-to-End Engineering: Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex full-stack applications, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Architecture & Quality: Set and enforce standards for clean, maintainable code. Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior team members.
Adaptability: Quickly master new technologies, frameworks, and domains as required by each client project.
Technical Requirements
Frontend Mastery: Expert-level experience with React or Angular (and openness to working with both).
Backend Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in at least one major backend language/stack (Node.js, Python, Java, or C#/.NET).
Essential Soft Skills & Requirements
Fluent English – Mandatory: Exceptional verbal and written English is non-negotiable. You must communicate confidently, professionally, and clearly with UK clients in meetings, calls, emails, documentation, and workshops. No exceptions — this is a client-facing consultancy role.
Strong Client-Facing / Consultant Mindset: Proactive, articulate, and at ease explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences. You enjoy being the bridge between business and technology.
Mobility & Flexibility: Valid passport and willingness to travel to the UK for short client visits (3–5 days, typically 1–2 times per quarter). Travel expenses fully covered.
Energy & Fit: High-energy “can-do” attitude that thrives in a small, fast-paced, client-driven team.
Database Knowledge: Solid proficiency in both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB or similar).
Cloud Native: Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
DevOps Mindset: Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices.
